Highest Rated Player - Ben Turner @ 16/1 - BetVictor
Villa have now gone 4 games without scoring. I feel this run could continue today against Cardiff. Villa have not looked liked scoring in there last 4 matches and have been fortunate to get away with 2 points from 4 games! If Cardiff do keep a clean sheet today it boosts Ben Turner's chances of getting the highest rated player.
Cardiff are going to be full of confidence after beating Swansea last weekend and I expect them coming out today playing as a team full of confidence therefore not conceding many chances to Villa.
Villa are without Agbonlahor and Weimann therefore are going to struggle to play there counter attacking football. This will benefit Cardiff as Villa are a tough side to beat when playing like this. Villa are going to have to play some long ball football like they have done all season, meaning a lot of aerial duels for Turner which again should enhance his chances of winning the highest rated player as he will be more involved in the game!
So why Turner over Caulker? Caulker is 9/1 after his performance last week, so there is no value there in my opinion. However Turner at 16/1 is very appealing!
In Villa's last 3 out of 4 matches the opposition's highest rated player has been a Cb. Same story again?
When playing at home Villa only have 2 players averaging over rating's of 7. Where as when Turner has played away from home he has averaged a rating of over 7, along with 3 other Cardiff players.
Bayer Leverkusen v Hamburger - Over 3.5 goals
Correct score - Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton @9 with Betfair
Palace could become the worst team to enter the premier league looking at their points tally and I think will find it tough going I was going to to pick 2-0 I think palace might get a late consolation goal.
