It's rare to have a game of the season contender as early as Week 3. Everton v Chelsea was as good as any Premier League game in recent memory. After our fantasy football heroics last week with Nacho Monreal, Diego Costa's phantom ankle injury ruined ours and other astute fantasy football managers weekends. Our sources told us it was likely he would make the bench at best, we subbed him for Jovetic and missed out on 24 fantasy football points. To say we were pissed is an understatement, but we weren't as pissed as Neil Lennon was on Super Sunday!
On to the Predictions!
Tony Saunders in League 7 was the man in week 3 with a top score of 9. Scores were low all around mainly due to the Man City v Stoke result. Many people had it as a banker, no doubt the result destroyed numerous accumulators. Man Utd and Arsenal dropping points also stumped predictors. Di Maria looked very good but he wasn't enough to make the difference. After suffering a 3-0 loss to Man City last Monday, Liverpool gave some of that flavour to Tottenham. Mario Balotelli started, a quality addition at 16m. However after all the hype, his finishing was a tribute act to Emile Heskey in his heyday.
Week 4's fixtures shall be up on Jim White day (Monday), and the question on everyone's lips is where will this man end up?
